After hypnotizing thousands
of people, a common response from my volunteers is “wow, was that ever
relaxing”, and “do I ever feel refreshed”. Hypnosis is not sleep, rather it
is a state of extraordinary mental and physical relaxation. In hypnosis you
let go of fear, stress, and tension to experience a peaceful state of mind.
In today’s fast paced world people need to relax more then ever.

I will share a powerful 6
step self–hypnosis process you can use to relax refresh and reprogram
yourself to sleep better. Before you begin this process, identify a soothing
color that represents relaxation.
Step 1. Find a place where you will not be disturbed. Get
comfortable (lie or sit down).
Step 2. Close your eyes and slowly take 5 deep breaths in and out.
Step 3. Imagine with each breath you take in, you take in your color
of relaxation and let that color fill up your body, going into every muscle,
nerve, and fiber; from the very tips of your toes to the top of your head.
Step 4. Imagine floating on a soft white cotton like cloud. As you
breathe in the cloud cradles you back and forth. Count from 3-1 and on 1,
imagine the cloud disappears and you float in your color of relaxation.
Step 5. By now you should feel deeply relaxed (yes this is hypnosis)
with your color radiating throughout every part of your body. In the most
soothing voice, give yourself the following suggestions: “I am calm and
relaxed”. “My mind and body are at ease”. “Relaxation is easy for me."
Repeat these
suggestions five times. And visualize any relaxing images incorporating your
color.
Step 6. Silently count from 1 to 5 and before you start counting say
to yourself, “On the count of 5, I open my eyes, feeling refreshed,
recharged, and totally energized.”

My suggestion is to use
this process 1-3 times per day for the next 21 days. You will notice after a
couple of weeks how easy it is for you to now relax.

and letting the natural order of life flow through one’s
being.”
